Nanoparticle process technology performs research in synthesis, processing and characterization of nanoparticles and nanomaterials as well as in aerosol technology and filtration. We use advanced methods of chemical reaction engineering, measurement technology, characterization, modelling and simulation. Our goal is the development of new and improved processes for the production of functional materials with structures in the nanometer regime on the basis of nanoparticles and the fundamental understanding of these processes.
